Indoor Swimming Pool

You can't always predict the British Weather, we all know this, and just in case it’s not like the tropics outside, we have a 33ft long, indoor heated swimming pool for your enjoyment with changing room, shower and W.C.

Alongside the main pool and also indoors, is a toddler pool 0.65m (just over 2ft) deep where those who can't swim unaided can be supervised safely. Both are heated to a comfortable 28-30°C.

Sauna

Within the pool-house there is a Sauna Cabin for those who enjoy warming up before plunging into the pool. £1 in the coin box gives you 20 mins heating.

Hot tub / Spa

If you just want to chill out, slip into the Hot Tub, perfect for relaxing and letting your troubles drain away. This is heated to approximately 37°C. £1 for 10 mins if you want bubbles and jets.

All Weather Tennis Court

In case beach tennis is not enough – you can enjoy the real thing on our all-weather court right here at North Hill. Rackets and balls available in the games room. Help yourselves.

Indoor Games Room

At the top of the Hill an indoor games room for the young and young at heart. Table tennis, pool table (50p per game) and table football (40p per game).

A safe play space with swings, slide and climbing holds

Enjoy the freedom to roam or find the perfect hideway spot for a cream tea picnic amidst glorious views. In the second field past the tennis court watch the sun go down with a glass of something cold in the summer or a mug of hot stuff in the winter.

Footpaths – right from your door

No need to jump into the car to go exploring. You can tramp for miles along beautiful footpaths across the ancient Devon countryside. See wildlife, dam streams, hunt for wild strawberries and experience the colour and aroma of a bluebell wood in spring.

The charming historic Devon town of Barnstaple is only 3 miles away, and offers whatever shopping needs you have including chemists, pubs and supermarkets.
