Northill cottages are in an amazing location - we had a beautiful view back down the wooded valley, with a glimpse of the estuary. Having a swimming pool and jacuzzi was a great facility to enjoy with the wild November weather preventing us walking much of the local countryside. The cottage was clean, well equipped and with the woodburner, very cosy.
A wonderful base location for exploring North Devon. Rowan Cottage is beautifully presented, well equipped and a great space for a family break. The pool, hot tub and sauna were great for relaxing after a day of beach and countryside walks. An extremely comfortable living space, and outdoor areas as well as being dog friendly! Would definitely recommend!
Thank you so much for a wonderful 4 day break. We loved every minute of our stay. Very comfortable, clean and beautiful setting. Enjoyed a swim and hot tub before going back and cooking our own meals in the evening (I love cooking). If you enjoy cooking there was a very good selection of utensils provided. It was a bit of a research trip to find a nice quiet spot I could use to write my first book and I’m sure I’ve found it. Lovely rural cottages, with great amenities and stunning views. Our teens loved the pool, hot tub and games room, and our dog loved the walks. A great place to chill out (by the log burner!) with family.
This place is perfect, nestled in a quiet area but close enough to local town and roads. Very spacious cottage and very clean. It has everything you need for a cosy fire or for cooking up a feast. Adrian are superhosts, friendly and always around to help. I would have no hesitation in recommending this place, we will be returning!
Very beautiful location, cottage was great and had everything we needed. Very cosy with a fire lit in the evenings after a busy day of exploring North Devon. Lots of places to visit within short driving distances, or beautiful countryside walks straight from the grounds. Pool was a good size and included a small pool too for children, our toddler had a great time.
Total relaxation, peaceful location no noise at all. No light pollution, you can actually see the stars and sleep blissfully. Cottage lovely and clean and very cosey. Great place for dogs too. The swimming pool is clean and bright and the Sauna is, well what can you say? Hot😃 Adrian are very helpful.
Lovely cottage, which was more spacious than we expected. Very clean. Great communications throughout and a very enjoyable visit. Looking for rest in deepest North Devon? I’d recommend this delightful home from home.
NorthHill cottages is a lovely quiet relaxing place to get away in the middle of nowhere but with great facilities like the Indoor pool, jacuzzi, sauna, laundry room and games room. There were also a few puzzles and games in the cottage for the lazy nights. We had a great family getaway which could include the dog too :-)
What a great cottage in a lovely secluded (but close to Barnstaple) location. You feel like you are so far away from everything which is very much appreciated when you live in London! So peaceful. Our daughter loved the sheep, chickens and fishes. The cottage is clean, comfy and well equipped. Warm welcome and great tips too.
Perfect cottage for a family, with stunning views across the countryside. The cottage was spotlessly clean and supplied with everything we needed for a weekend away. The outside spaces were beautifully kept with space to run around, and for our little ones to scoot/ ride a bike whilst we enjoyed the sunshine. The swimming pool was immaculately kept and warm. We are planning our return already!
